Harvest Time!

The garden has been bountiful this year!

We're done harvesting the lettuce and sugar snap pease (second round of lettuce is growing now).

Harvested the last of the Kohlrabi this week -- it has become a favorite of lil Max's -- who would've thought that?

The beans, tomatoes, squash, peppers and cucumbers have just started their bounty -- we will be up to our eyeballs soon.

See?!!

I'm totally jealous. My little patio garden was a miserable failure this year and left me utterly frustrated. I only got 2 jalapenos off my pepper plant, is that normal?? My tomatoes all got some sick spotted disease and the asian beetles destroyed my strawberry plant--like something out of a horror flick. Your veggie basket looks like heaven. You obviously have a green thumb for sure!

So beautiful! Our little transplanted garden (from pots at the old house to the ground at the new house) is rather sad, so I'm already dreaming of next year!

I'm a bit jealous of your garden. I really wanted one this year but my father in law has two... yes two full sized gardens. He shares with us so there is no need for me to have one as well.

Two weeks we were given fresh corn, zucchini, and cucumbers. Last night we were given a large bag full of cherry tomatoes.

Maybe I'll plant myself an herb garden!

Your loot looks great! Whatever will you make with all your fresh yummies?
